Paul Newman...

I usually do not post gossipy stuff like this but to me this is worthwhile. Oscar-winning actor and philanthropist Paul Newman has died. He was 83. He was one of the greatest actors of our time. He made a name for himself because of his great acting skills not because he was a screw up that needed attention in the media like so many of the actors today.

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Paul and Robert Redford who also has melted my heart. I remember watching the Great Gatsby with Robert and I was a fan for life

Read more about Paul on the LA Times Obituary page.

Thanks for thinking about Paul and for this cool post. The thing I thought was so incredible about Paul....I think his food company, Newman's Own"(?) made more for charity than he ever made from movies. If that is true, then he is an extra special hero of mine. I love people who give back and who aren't all about the taking. Againg cool post. Thanks for your blog.
