Eat Breakfast for Weight Loss NOT Weight Gain

Breakfast is a vital part of your day for a healthy body and mind.  Researchers at the University of Minnesota published a study of 18 years of survey data from 3,600 young adults and showed that people who had breakfast every day gained 4 pounds less, on average, than people who skipped breakfast. Those that ate breakfast were also at lower risk for obesity, hypertension, and diabetes.  The same effect has been studied in Asia and in Europe, in children and in grown-ups, and the conclusion seems to be the same. The more regularly you eat breakfast, the less you will gain.  I think this has to do with not binging in late morning or on a larger lunch because you are famished.  You start your day by leveling your blood sugar and if you continue to eat every 3-4 hours you will not go into a ravenous state and overeat.  Bottom line - Don't forget to eat your breakfast. Get your metabolism in motion. Create a happy and healthy day!

"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success." ~Swami Vivekananda

Hello World - Been A long Time Since Last Post

Sorry I have not posted in a long time.  I want to first start out by giving a short description of who I am....Here goes:  I am a wife, mother of 3, Colon Cancer survivor, Dermatomyositis DM (auto-immune disease) survivor, and I love to exercise and help to motivate and inspire others to live a healthier life - this does not mean you cannot enjoy a nice glass of wine of an ice cream sundae - this just means to be in control of your cravings and do not over do it and NEVER feel guilty by your choices....I am always looking at motivation pictures and reading up on workout routines.  I like sharing the things I have seen over the years...I also enjoy looking at pictures of tasty, healthy foods - I am not a good cook but occasionally I attempt to make the things I see....I started a website called FitnessMamma

You can also follow me over at Facebook on My FitnessMamma Facebook Page
I like helping people with health and nutrition choices and you can find my Nutrition Store Here at my HEALTH SHOP

I am hoping to be more active at this blog and will make it look a bit nicer.  I built it several years ago.

For now, ENJOY your day and please visit my links :)
