Dear Oprah...

You describe yourself with such terms as "fat cow" when you should be saying "So What" to the world! Do you have any idea of the magnitude of how you have helped people all over the world? Those people sure do not see you as a "fat cow." They see someone with a good heart who has changed our world.

Do not apologize to others about your weight...it is only your inner self that knows the emotions you have dealt with and why you have struggled for so many years with your weight. Do you think when you die people are going to remember you for your weight or for what you have done for our world? There might be a few that will scrutinize you but that is just their jealousy coming out.

Oprah, we want you to be healthy so you can continue to share your ideas, thoughts and your monetary blessings with the world but the weight loss thing is a side line thing. I know you feel you have to always focus on your weight but most people do not care how much you weigh they care about what you are going to say next.

You need to start to say "SO WHAT" to those that ask about your weight. Your focus needs to be your overall health.

A major study reported recently in the New England Journal of Medicine concludes that having too much of this ‘belly fat’ can actually double your risk of dying from heart disease, stroke, cancer, and diabetes, and it can triple your risk of dementia. Here’s the most frightening statistic from this important 10-year study: for every extra 2 inches (or 5 cm) around your waistline, you increase your risk of early death by up to 17%! This should be your reason to lose weight not what people are saying about your weight! This is not an image thing this is a life change. Oprah physical appearance will be a benefit side effect to you becoming healthy.

Scientists understand that there are four distinct aspects that must all be addressed for weight loss success.

Here are the four aspects:
One must Eliminate Dangerous Abdominal Fat
You need to Control Appetite
You need to Enhance Metabolism
There needs to be a way to Cleanse and Detox the Body

Oprah, I know you are thinking, "No Sh_t Sherlock!" I hope I am here to help you a bit.

Oprah, what if I knew of a company, that sold a product that can help you with the four aspects you need to help you get healthy? Would you take a look? What if i told you there was a 90-Day, Unconditional, 100% Money Back Guarantee? There is no risk with trying.

This product is a TRIPLE-PATENTED, Clinically Proven...A Totally Unique WEIGHT LOSS JUICE!

There will also be a healthy lifestyle plan to accompany this product, and it's an essential component of reaching your weight loss goals. The plan includes eating well and physical activity. Oprah, since you already do physical activity this lifestyle will just be enhanced with a product to support what you have already been doing. Thanks to the product's triple patent pending technology and formulation, its clinically demonstrated efficacy, and its' 4 way action, it will be easier than ever for you to cut some calories and increase your level of physical activity. Oprah, doesn't that sound awesome?

Oprah, the benefits go far beyond weight management, as the formula contains ingredients that, in the potency's found in our product, have been clinically shown to support cardiovascular, colon, and cholesterol health, and a lot more. This is for you to be on the HEALTHY track of life. Oprah, you are a force no one can compare to in this world, we need you to be around for many more years. I wanted to share this information with you and hopefully you will take a look.

The product and the name will not be revealed until January 10, 2008. Once it is revealed I will do a follow up with the announcement. Here is the link to the site for you to read more...WEIGHT LOSS SITE CLICK HERE - Get A FREELIFE TODAY!

Oprah, I wish you all the best and please say "SO WHAT" to the world when those few see your weight and not your attributes to society. All we want is for you to be healthy!.

Oprah, I wish you All My Best For A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Seeing Is A Bit Challenging...

Seems t0 be the phrase I have been using these last few days since my surgery. "Seeing is a bit challenging," also seems be be a phrase used by many people dealing with the economic crisis as well.

Going through each day with one eye that sees clearly is a bit challenging. I have had a few headaches and have felt a bit 'sea sick' but I know this will pass. I also had a stitch that needed trimmed back because it was irritating my eye lid - once the doc did his work my eyelid was more comfortable. I am still putting eye drops into my eyes daily and sleeping with a horrific looking eye patch - my youngest looks at me funny before he kisses me goodnight! I know this will all be worth it in the end when I can see without prescription glasses or contacts. Science and medicine are gifts from GOD. I am blessed that I am fortunate enough to be a candidate for Phakic lens implant surgery and that I too have the income to cover the cost - insurance does not cover the surgery - I wish it did but my implants for my eyes is considered elective, even though I am nearly blind without glasses or contacts. Some of you have witnessed my "coke" bottle glasses :)

Eyes...what a symbol. If you look close enough at a paper dollar bill you will see a 'seeing eye' at the top of a pyramid. The all-seeing eye is a symbol showing an eye surrounded by rays of light. It is sometimes interpreted as representing the eye of God keeping watch on humankind. Do you think we needed someone to watch over us for the last 50 years or so?

During this hard economic time many people are being challenged. People were using money like it was Monopoly money for so many years that it did not have the value it once did. I am also guilty of that and my kids are as well. The difference between myself and others is I actually had the money to cover my 'things' while many other people did not and charging was the answer. There seemed to be so much to go around that each person forgot they were suppose to be the ones watching over themselves. The bubble had to burst sometime and it sure did! Do you see the seeing-eye on any credit card???

On our PAPER currency, not plastic credit cards, the eye is surrounded by the words "Annuit Cœptis", meaning "He approves (or has approved) [our] undertakings," or "God has favored our undertaking." I guess it was meant for the paper money we had not the plastic - like I said where is the eye on credit cards. Below the separated pyramid is, "Novus Ordo Seclorum," meaning "New Order of the Ages." We definitely will have a new order once government starts to control major companies with their bailouts!

I was reading that the unfinished pyramid, on the dollar bill, means that the United States will always grow, improve and build. There is always something to be accomplished. Well I guess there needed to be a time when we were suppose to slow all this building down!

I do not know what all of these symbols are on money means for sure but I do know that people need to start becoming more accountable to themselves and remember that just because you want something does not mean you NEED IT! This concept can be a bit challenging for some to grasp but without this concept a lot more people would be a bit more challenged at the moment.

Back to my eyes - my next surgery is this Wednesday the 17th. I know I will not be seeing clearly in either eye so not sure if I will be able to give you any update unless I can smash my nose against the keyboard and the computer screen:)

Just a little holiday spirit - My company is running a special until December 23rd - just $19.95 to sign up as a rep. If you are looking for your own business from home with a full 90 day, 100% money back guarantee check out MY BUSINESS

Our Windows To the World...

EYES! Yes they are our windows to the world.

The precious commodity that we all take for granted until our sight is in jeopardy. I actually am one of those that have never taken my eyes for granted. I was born with very poor vision. My parents did not know how bad until my twin sister and I went to our first eye doctor visit around age 5-6 (not quite sure). The first comment my sister and I said to our mother was we did not realize the trees had tops! I am almost 40 but that day changed my life forever. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.

I know this is the holiday season and everyone is stressed about income and what to buy for others this year. All I want is good eye sight. My eyes have been deteriorating over the years and they are so bad that my vision could not be corrected by Lasik alone. By my age you would have expected my eyes to get settled and not get any worse...well not the case. My eyes hover around -18 and-19 diopters. A diopter, in my case, is a negative number (which indicates nearsightedness and a lens that minimizes things). A diopter simply indicates how powerful a lens is in order to properly focus light on a person’s retina, and it is defined as being “the inverse of a person’s focal length in metres.” Focal length is the distance you need to see an object clearly for a fine-detail task, for example to read a book. A –2.00 lens would mean the person can only see a distance of up to 1/2 of a metre clearly. In my case I am a -18 and -19 so I see a distance of 1/18 in one eye and 1/19 in the other - yes it is not fun. If I do not have my contacts in or glasses on I cannot see the precious faces of my kids or see my husbands face until he gets close enough to me to give me a kiss

Many people also have astigmatism, which means that their nearsightedness or farsightedness is not the same in all directions. This is because their corneas are not perfectly round, but stretched irregularly, like a cylinder (or the back of a spoon). I am of course in this category as well.

Astigmatism makes vision blurry at any distance. A good analogy is having my kids erase a pencil mark on their paper and leaving a smear mark, which makes a blurry mark. The image looks distorted in a particular direction, rather than being distorted in all directions. Astigmatism does something similar to that smear mark on top of the nearsightedness or farsightedness that we already have.

On December 3rd I went in for a procedure that has been around for about 20 years worldwide - in the USA less than 10 years. I had a Verisyse™ Phakic Intraocular Lens placed into my right eye. They do one eye at a time. In a few weeks I will go ahead and do my left eye. I do not want to do the procedure injustice so I recommend you visit the link to find out more about the procedure.

This procedure is more in depth then I had expected. I was told by the doctor my full vision will not be clear for up to 8 weeks! The day after surgery I was able to read the GIANT E on the eye chart. It was a bit blurry but it was the clearest I had ever seen he E in my entire life without my contacts or my glasses. It truly was a life changing moment.

It is a bit challenging writing this blog post because I have a contact in my eye that has not been operated on yet and it is very blurry out of my operated eye. I am not able to drive for several weeks and I need to stay away from my 5 mile a day run for a bit - that is very challenging! The end result will be life changing and I cannot wait so the sacrifices I make now will be well worth it!

Because of my Astigmatism the doctor had to use stitches that he will remove in intervals to help to correct the Astigmatism. I need that in both eyes. I also have very large pupils so to get the best results without the HALO effects and glaring effects that some get from LASIK my eye doctor used a larger lens but the prescription was not to the strength I needed. They just do not make them in my strength as large as I needed. I will need to go back in several months for follow up LASIK surgery to make small adjustments. I wish I could just do the LASIK but from where my journey began my CORNEA was too thin. Once it is corrected to 20/50 vision - I hope - then the LASIK can be done.

Thanks for letting me share my story and I will definitely follow up with my progress.

Make A Difference...

I wanted to share with all of you a program that is changing the lives of some inner city kids. The program is called E CITY. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to this program a few years back. My company, FreeLife, made a sizable donation to this program through their GOJIKIDS foundation.

E CITY believes that kids in the inner city, "who have mental toughness, street smarts, survival instincts and creativity, can put those innate traits to productive use, if shown how." The E CITY program engages students with mentors in their community which, in turn, helps them to see the connection between academics and “real life.” I was privileged enough to be able to present my FreeLife opportunity to these kids. Everyone especially with today's economic climate is looking for a "WAY OUT." I not only showed them my business but introduced them to the world of network marketing. We discussed FreeLife, Avon, MaryKay, Pampered Chef and many other mlm/network marketing companies. They could not believe that their were opportunities to own their own business without laying out several thousands of dollars. It was wonderful to answer all of their questions and just spend the day with them.

With E CITY more than 900 Cleveland area students have entered in the E CITY business plan competitions for cash awards since 2002.

Here is a video of one success story from E CITY

E CITY is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization that offers its entrepreneurship and life skills programming for no charge to its students. Right now they are in need of donations.

How will your gift make a difference to E CITY? Judge for yourself:
$1,000 sponsors one student for an E CITY program
$500 will provide one field trip for 25 E CITY students
$250Three E CITY class field trips to local businesses.
$100Two E CITY BizBags, which contain business supplies for the E CITY graduates.
$25 One E CITY class textbook for one E CITY student.

If you are open to helping out these students please visit the ECITY website donation page here.

I know this is a challenging time for many but the children of this country are our future - If you feel you need to donate to an organization in your community then maybe you can check out the E CITY website for partner organizations.

Your Future Is In Your Hands...

The choices which you make today will determine the course of your entire future. No one can make choices for you. You are in control of answering "yes" or "no." You are the one making the decision to take the next step towards your goals. Why wait another day...do what you need to do to get you closer to what you define as success. You can lead a life that is "very nearly empty" or you can live a life "full of new opportunities." The great thing is you get to make the choice.

May you have a Successful Future in all aspects of Your Life.

Do You Have A Gift Card From Any Major Retailers?

If you have a gift card that you have not used to a major department store you might want to check the list of recent store closings. I would not want you to be left with just a useless piece of plastic.

A friend of mine just sent me a list of store closings. Some of the stores listed may have already closed - you will want to search the company on Google that you are concerned about for more details. If you have gift cards for any of these stores, now would be the time to cash them in...

Here is the list:

Wilsons the Leather Experts - 158 stores

Pacific Sunwear will close its 154 Demo stores after a review of strategic alternatives for the urban-apparel brand. Seventy-four under performing Demo stores closed last May.

Sharper Image: The company recently filed for bankruptcy protection and announced that 90 of its 184 stores are closing. The retailer will still operate 94 stores to pay off debts, but 90 of these stores have performed poorly and also may close.

KB Toys posted a list of 356 stores that it is closing around the United States as part of its bankruptcy reorganization. To see the list of store closings, go to the KB Toys Information web site, and click on Press Information

Dillard's to Close More Stores. Dillard's Inc. said it will continue to focus on closing under performing stores, reducing expenses and improving its merchandise in 2008. At the company's annual shareholder meeting, CEO William Dillard II said the company will close another six under performing stores this year.

Ann Taylor closing 117 stores nationwide A company spokeswoman said the company hasn't revealed which stores will be shuttered. It will let the stores that will close this fiscal year know over the next month.

Eddie Bauer to close more stores. Eddie Bauer has already closed 27 shops in the first quarter and plans to close up to two more outlet stores by the end of the year.

Cache closing stores. Women's retailer Cache announced that it is closing 20 to 23 stores this year.

Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, Catherines closing 150 stores nationwide The owner of retailers Lane Bryant , Fashion Bug , Catherines Plus Sizes will close about 150 under performing stores this year. The company hasn't provided a list of specific store closures and can't say when it will offer that info, spokeswoman Brooke Perry said today.

Talbots, J. Jill closing stores. About a month ago, Talbots announced that it will be shuttering all 78 of its kids and men's stores. Now the company says it will close another 22 under performing stores. The 22 stores will be a mix of Talbots women's and J. Jill, another chain it owns. The closures will occur this fiscal year, according to a company press release.

Gap Inc. closing 85 stores. In addition to its namesake chain, Gap also owns Old Navy and Banana Republic. The company said the closures - all planned for fiscal 2008 - will be weighted toward the Gap brand.

Foot Locker to close 140 stores. In the company press release and during its conference call with analysts today, it did not specify where the future store closures - all planned in fiscal 2008 - will be. The company could not be immediately reached for comment.

Wickes is going out of business. Wickes Furniture is going out of business and closing all of its stores, Wickes, a 37-year-old retailer that targets middle-income customers, filed for bankruptcy protection last month.

Levitz - The furniture retailer is going out of business. Levitz first announced it was going out of business and closing all 76 of its stores in December. The retailer dates back to 1910 when Richard Levitz opened his first furniture store in Lebanon, PA. In the 1960s, the warehouse/ showroom concept brought Levitz to the forefront of the furniture industry.

Zales & Piercing Pagoda closing stores. The owner of Zales and Piercing Pagoda previously said it plans to close 82 stores by July 31. Today, it announced that it is closing another 23 under performing stores. The company said it's not providing a list of specific store closures. Of the 105 locations planned for closure, 50 are kiosks and 55 are stores.

Disney Store owner has the right to close 98 stores The Walt Disney Company announced it acquired about 220 Disney Stores from subsidiaries of The Children's Place Retail Stores. The exact number of stores acquired will depend on negotiations with landlords. Those subsidiaries of Children's Place filed for bankruptcy protection in late March. Walt Disney in the news release said it has also obtained the right to close about 98 Disney Stores in the U.S. The press release didn't list those stores.

Home Depot store closings - ATLANTA - Nearly 7+ months after its chief executive said there were no plans to cut the number of its core retail stores, The Home Depot Inc. announced Thursday that it is shuttering 15 of them amid a slumping U.S. economy and housing market. The move will affect 1,300 employees. It is the first time the world's largest home improvement store chain has ever closed a flagship store for performance reasons. Its shares rose almost 5 percent. The Atlanta-based company said the under performing U.S. stores being closed represent less than 1 percent of its existing stores. They will be shuttered within the next two months.

CompUSA (CLOSED) clarifies details on store closings. Any extended warranties purchased for products through CompUSA will be honored by a third-party provider, Assurant Solutions. Gift cards, rain checks, and rebates purchased prior to December 12 can be redeemed at any time during the final sale. For those who have a gadget currently in for service with CompUSA, the repair will be completed and the gadget will be returned to owners.

Macy's - 9 stores

Pep Boys - 33 stores

Sprint Nextel - 125 retail locations New Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse appears to have inherited a company bleeding subscribers by the thousands, and will now officially be dropping the ax on 4,000 employees and 125 retail locations. Amid the loss of 639,000 postpaid customers in the fourth quarter, Sprint will be cutting a total of 6.7% of its work force (following the 5,000 layoffs last year) and 8% of company-owned brick-and-mortar stores, while remaining mute on other rumors that it will consolidate its headquarters in Kansas.

J. C. Penney, Lowe's and Office Depot are scaling back

Ethan Allen Interiors: The company announced plans to close 12 of 300+

If you know of any other stores please share in the comment section. Sorry if some of the listings are old news - I just thought I should share this information for those that had no idea.

Paul Newman...

I usually do not post gossipy stuff like this but to me this is worthwhile. Oscar-winning actor and philanthropist Paul Newman has died. He was 83. He was one of the greatest actors of our time. He made a name for himself because of his great acting skills not because he was a screw up that needed attention in the media like so many of the actors today.

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Paul and Robert Redford who also has melted my heart. I remember watching the Great Gatsby with Robert and I was a fan for life

Read more about Paul on the LA Times Obituary page.

Cookie Time...

On my run, this morning, a woman was passing me and I am one that says "hello" and "good morning" to everyone - I think that helps to keep me going. Anyway, the woman was passing me at the 2-mile marker. I told her I was contemplating turning back or going for one more to run 6 miles for the day. She started laughing and said to me she was just thinking the same thing. We both decided to forge forward with the longer run. A woman ran by the two of us a short time later. She had perfect form and speed. I said, "I have been running for over 4 years and my form has never looked as good as her form." The woman said to me that she has a regular running partner that looks like a pro as well. She then said to me, "It does not matter how you look or how fast as long as you get to the finish." The woman then said that she and her friend laugh because she thinks of her run each morning as her 'cookie' run. Each day her goal is to run so that she can have a cookie later that day. She said, "I might not look as good as my friend but I still get to eat my cookie!"

This situation is just like business - it does not matter how you look as long as you stay on the same path of those that succeed. If you set goals and move forward towards your goals you will be a success. You know the saying 'Whether you graduate #1 from med school or graduate last people still call you doctor.'

Just keep your eyes on your goals and move closer to accomplishing them everyday.

Crazy Bananas!

I just heard a great quote while I was doing a training call...

"The banana that gets off the bunch gets peeled"

Ok, I know you are all shaking your head and wondering if I just smoked the peel or what! If you are working in any type of business this quote should be easy to understand. Think about your business. Do you work with a group, team of people? If so, then are you a stronger person if you work together as a team or work alone? In network marketing as with any type of business if you can solidify your group, choose a direction you want to head, take action with your plan then together I know you will be rewarded much faster than if you did this alone.

Remember to appreciate your downline and appreciate where you started. Stick to it and do not be the one to leave the bunch!

Do Not Wait For Leaders Do It Alone

I am in a melancholy mood. I am about to go watch tv of Palin speaking at the Republican National Convention and confused as to why this nation has to be such sticklers and bring her children into this media arena. Are her kids running for office? I am a mother and I guess the side of me that wants to protect the children comes out. Palin has enough challenges in her life without the media tearing into her kids lives. What if this were a male VP candidate? Would the media be so critical of what he was doing about his families issues right now or would the media be asking - "oh the poor wife how is she going to handle this situation". We all have challenges in our families - no one family is perfect. I respect Palin whether she does become our new VP or not. I respect her for her conviction and her beliefs that she has set goals for herself and has made a name for herself in history. Maybe some of my views are different than hers but she certainly has achieved her place in a mans world - Much business is done on the golf course and the men need to move over because I see a wave of women heading their way :) The men can stay if they want they just need to start hearing that woman can be as influential as the men.

Quotes by Mother Teresa

"Do Not Wait For Leaders Do It Alone"

"Do not allow yourselves to be disheartened by any failure as long as you have done your best"

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless"

"The child is God's gift to the family. Each child is created in the special image and likeness of God for greater things; to love and to be loved"

"I never will understand all the good that a simple smile can accomplish"

"If you judge people, you have no time to love them"

I hope you all have a terrific night..Goodnight and God Bless

Domestic Goddess...

I wrote a similar post several months ago and thought I needed to bring up the topic again.

Domestic Goddess…I prefer our SAHM and WAHM (Stay At Home Mom and Work At Home Mom) title to be Domestic Goddess (DG) That seems to make people smile. Yes, most people do not give praise where praise is needed when it comes to being a Domestic Goddess. Being a DG is absolutely the hardest position in the world. There is no paycheck to go along with the experience. At one time I was confused by what I was looking for while in the midst of bringing kids into this world. Never getting recognition for all my long hours and dealing with spit-up, homework headaches, being asked what is for dinner and once prepared no one wants to eat it – I could go on and on. Many of you may have also found yourself in my position. I thought I was looking for income to make me happy (even though my DH (dear husband) is a successful dentist) I did not find out until I had worked from home and made a name for myself and earned great money it was not the money I was looking for - it was the recognition of belonging to something again and corresponding with adults is what I missed.

Before I got involved in the network marketing industry I worked as a school teacher and then I worked as an accountant (major and minored in college). I was rewarded as a teacher by the success of my kids and rewarded as an accountant when I was able to balance a worksheet. Being a DG you never seem to get the same praise until you are in public and your kids use the phrases “please” and “thank you” when you least expect it and you feel you have done a mighty good job raising them! That is just one example - having your kids tell you they love you without being prompted is absolutely one of the best things a DG loves to hear.

When I discovered network marketing I found what I was longing. The rewards I got from helping others with their health and financially gave me what I needed. The money was secondary but the money also turned out to be a blessing because even though I never needed to really ask for permission when it came to spending money I always thought it was my obligation to talk to DH (Dear Husband) since he was the one working and earning the income. Now I am earning as well and I feel I have an even say in monetary issues that have to be dealt with in our home.

Working from home and being a DG now gives me more respect from my kids than before. I am also more respected by my friends who use to think I just sat at home and ate bon bons all day - you know where they can stick those bon bons :) My kids see me juggling my home business and their school and social functions. My kids are happy to have their “mommy” at home and I feel good about being able to see them and being able to stop by their school whenever I want. Being a DG and a WAHM gives me the intrinsic feeling of success that I was searching for – that is my big “WHY”.

What are you passionate about? I am sure you have heard that many times before. Have you ever worked in an mlm or network marketing company? It is something you can do on your own time. For less than $200 you can start a home business just like I did!

You can reach me anytime if you have questions. I have been featured in three books and am always happy to share my story and what I do to bring in extra income and meet so many wonderful people from around the world.

GOOD LUCK to you and I hope I helped a little or a lot!

Would You Rather...

While running on the treadmill the other morning I happened to turn on The Today Show when they were revealing their poll for the day. The question was asked of the viewers...

Would you rather
1) Lose 10 pounds
2) Get 10 extra days of vacation
3) Get $1,000

Let the question sink in and then choose your answer from above. What do you think the results were and why did you think that way? You can comment and then the poll results are below.

The results:
32% chose lose 10 pounds and it was a tie between the 10 extra days and receiving $1,000 - 34% of the viewers chose the vacation and 34% chose the $1,000!

Do the results surprise you? They surprised Hoda and Kathi Lee.

With today's economy people are scared. They are looking for more time freedom and more money to help pay the bills. With the rising gas prices everything is affected.

I thought people would have chose Lose the 10 pounds hands down. My reasoning behind my answer is the health issue. I feel without good health what else matters. I just assumed that others would see the health issue as a big deal. If you are over weight and have the health issues like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and other health related issues that go along with being over weight then how are you going to enjoy the money? I know 10 pounds does not seem like a lot to some of you but to many people that is all they need to lose to get in a certain frame of mind to start working towards a healthier lifestyle. To lose 10 pounds takes dedication and to earn a good living also takes dedication. The reality is money is a temporary state...it comes and it goes but a healthy body is your key to a long life. All the money in the world is useless if you do not have good health.

In this economy people have shifted away from health to worrying about their next pay check and how they are going to fill their car up with gas. People are more scared of what is going to be next. Folks, the $1,000 will not last you too long and the vacation days will come and go and then you will hopefully have some great memories but that is all. What if you could work towards good health yourself and work towards improving your lifestyle? Would you give it a shot if the right opportunity came along?

For those of you who answered for more vacation days or the money I am sure if I ask you if you are happy with your present job you will say NO. Well, now that we have that out of the way what are YOU going to do about it? I am not saying it is going to be easy but start getting busy. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? You can be 10 pounds lighter with some discipline and action. You do not even need to join a gym...let your feet walk or run you to your goal weight. The vacation time and money issue will take a little bit more thinking on your part. If you are searching for more out of life than what your current employer is offering you then I would like to offer you a FREE 30 minute DVD that will share with you what I have done to add to my bottom line. I am going to be honest...it is not easy but with some effort and some time and some consistent action on your part your success will be assured. If you think you are open to taking the next step to improving your income status and even your health please leave me a comment here or contact me at shelleyk @ raex.com (do not use spaces in the email address) You need to get me your contact information or I cannot help you.

Overwhelmed...tears in my eyes...

On Oct. 12, 1972, a rugby team left Montevideo, Uruguay, to fly to Santiago, Chile, for a game. Nando Parrado was one of those rugby players. There were 45 people on the plane, The Fairchild. The plane crashed in the Andes. Those that survived the crash did not know they would have to find a way to survive high up in the Andes for 72 grueling days.

Miracle In The Andes by Nando Parrado, is a book
that tells the amazing true story that will move anyone with a heart. I got the privilege to hear Nando speak a few years ago. The room was filled with a few thousand people. Everyone was so focused on each word Nando spoke that you could have heard a pin drop in the room that day. To hear Nando tell about his friends, family members and people he just met about this unexpected moment of his life was very emotional for me. This book had been sitting on my book shelf for about two years. I finally decided it was time to read the story. When I finished this book my feelings of grief just overwhelmed me. I felt such loss for all those who lost their lives. The story of survival is one of the most heart wrenching realities I have ever heard.

So many life lessons can be learned from reading this book. If you never give up you can do anything you want. If someone else tries to steal your dreams and give up on themselves never give up on you. You are the one constant in this whole vast world. Go out and be a leader...you are the one in control of your destiny. Love conquers all. Without love what is your purpose. Having someone to share your hopes, dreams and reality is what truly makes the world a better place for everyone.

Create A Great Week...I hope one day you will have time to read this book.

Vision...Which Do You Choose?

This is going to be a simple lesson for today:

1. Vision - Action = Fantasy

2. Vision + Action = Goal Setting and Success

If you are having a bad day figure out which equation you should be focusing on for the day. If you are having a good day then I know you are spending your time on equation number 2.

Can You Please Pass The Mustard?

What would the Fourth Of July be without the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest??? What a photo finish it was!

Please view the 2008 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest below:

I think they might need some of the pink stuff after all those dogs:)

These guys were on a mission - they set goals, worked on reaching their goals and at least one of them gets to enjoy the thrill of victory! Even though they both did not win the tie breaker meant that there was not a run away victory. They were both great opponents. There is a lesson in everything we do. I am sure we will see both of them again next year. Hard to believe how skinny both of these guys are :)

Congratulations Joey Chestnut!!!

Enjoy your Saturday!

3 Questions To Avoid Procrastination

I just got back from a fun-filled, relaxing week in the Bahamas! I stayed at the Atlantis resort and it was just fabulous! I wish you could of all been there...and you could of if you won the trip like I did with my company!

Anyway, I am here to talk about procrastination. I did not win the trip because of procrastination..I won the trip because I took action! While away I heard one of the co-founders of my company speak. He listed 3 question YOU need to ask yourself to avoid procrastination.

Here are the questions:
1) Do I have to do this?
2) Do I want it done so it is not on my mind?
3) Will it be any easier to do it later?

If you take time to ask yourself these 3 questions while sitting on the couch procrastinating I know it will change your attitude and will relieve much stress in your life. When you ask yourself these questions it will make you get up and take action. Why wait for later ...you will be glad you decided to do what should have been done and not waiting for the last minute!

Tequila and Salt - Thoughts For You To Consider...

My aunt sent me this email and it was quite interesting.
You may not realize it, but it's 100% true. Think about where you are in life while you read through the list and start smiling...

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received.

Forget about the rude remarks.

So.........

when life hands you Lemons, ask for Tequila and Salt and call me over! I also like GoChi and Vodka!

Good friends are like stars........
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.

'Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though Sometimes It's Hell in the Hallway'

I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I'm here than a whole truck load when I'm gone..

Happiness keeps You Sweet,

Trials keep You Strong,

Sorrows keep You Human,

Failures keeps You Humble,

Success keeps You Glowing,

But Only God keeps You Going.

Encouragement For You!

Remember you are your number one cheerleader. No one else can feel the way you feel, crave the way you crave, lust for something as much as you lust for it. Remember your dreams are your own and no one can take that from you.

It might take more time than others or more effort than others to reach your goals but remember...It is always going to work out if you do not give up on YOU!

Time Is Passing And Nothing Is Changing....

A good friend of mine once said..."Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out". I am not sure if this was his original quote or if he got the quote from someone else...I just like it.

Time is passing and nothing is changing...are your potential customers not looking at the information you are sending them? If so you need to change today and repeat the small positive efforts each day!

I know many of you are networking online to make business contacts to gain new customers, marketing representative or the bottom line to bring more sales to bring income to you. Many people who work in sales do not think about the best way to get information to their prospects. It is so simple but skipped over so many times and your efforts could be wasted.

Suppose you met someone at a coffee shop and they were interested in your widget you were selling. You proceeded to ask for their business card and told them you would get information to them ASAP. You figured since you use the Internet so often that emailing them links to your site was the best way for them to receive your information. What you neglected to find out from this potential customer was how often this person was online. What you did not realize, this person was a travelling salesman for a high end plastics company and he was on the road 4 out of 5 days a week and rarely checked his emails during the week! Your best bet would have been to pop a CD with information about your product in the mail to this person so when they were travelling around for those 4 days it would have been a time for them to listen with no interruptions!

Like people say ...stop and smell the flowers. You need to stop and listen to cues and repeat this action day in and day out. Listen to your prospect.

I have compiled a list of key questions to ask your potential customers that will help you day to day:

1) Do you have a commute to work? If so your best bet for them might be a CD to listen to during the commute

2) Do you like to read at your computer? If so then sending links would be beneficial

3) To go along with question number 2 above - Would you like to review information online or on a disk?

4) Do you like to read in the evening? If so then send them some reading materials, brochures, flyer's, pamphlets, etc...

5) What things are important to you in evaluating a business opportunity? I love asking this question because it leads to so many options with the conversation. This allows you to really hear what your prospect is looking for. If you are in network marketing maybe they will discuss the products, pay plan or ask about bonuses or trips. They may talk about long-term commitments with the owners and the reps. This will give you the information you need so you know what information to send them. If they are heavy on the products you know to send them product oriented information...if they are interested in the income potential you know to send them earning statistics.

Another important thing for you to do is remember FORM

F - Family
O - Occupation
R -Recreation
M-Money

When sending your potential customer the information they requested make a personal note and recognize one of these important key personal tidbits from the list above. If you show you care and took time to listen your potential customer will be more open to what you are offering.

Now that this is stated Is Time Passing And Nothing Changing for YOU? If you do not think you are in the best opportunity out there or you just seem to be spinning your wheels and you are not getting anywhere I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU! See why Oprah and these highly acclaimed magazines have written about this incredible fruit I share with the world!

In Profit! Need Help! Serious Inquires ONLY!!!

ONLY call if you are:
MLM leadership type or strong entrepreneur.
Commission and Bonuses with position.

Our key product is a new blockbuster nutraceutical product released on February 1, backed by double blind, placebo controlled clinical study.

I have a profitable downline leg for sale. Since January the sales for the leg have averaged about $15,000. I am looking for a seasoned network marketer to take over the leg. Last month we had brought in many new Marketing Executives to the leg and the growth is going to explode. We are opening Germany in the next few weeks and two of the new reps are from Germany with connections.

You are probably asking why is this leg for sale? The leg is still in my downline so it will not effect my earnings. The gentleman that is selling the leg runs his own very profitable family business that has been passed down through generations and he just does not have the time to devote to helping support the group. He is a dear friend and is willing to let it go so that it can be worked by an individual that can help support the leg better than he can at this time in his life. With all the new activity my friend cannot focus on this business any longer. If any of you would like to discuss this further PLEASE email me with your details and contact information. I am working on a few inquiries for the leg right now but have not made a decision so the leg is still up for grabs. I will check my emails often.
